The Burnham MPO boiler is made of cast iron and functions with maximum efficiency due to the three pass system.   The three-pass system allows the heat distribution inside the boiler on three different ways, instead of the regular system that uses just one way before reaching into the boiler system from your house.   The three-pass heat exchanger made of cast iron uses as many as possible of the Btu’s from the burning process in order to provide heat into your home.      The return water mechanism comes with the MPO helps the boiler to improve its efficiency and also turns it into an economical device.

The return water device mixes the hot water from the boiler with cold return water. This system also helps keeping the temperature stable automatically during the whole time.

Model MPO84 has a heating capacity of 74,000 MBH 

Model MPO115 has a heating capacity of 98,000 MBH 

Model MPO147 has a heating capacity of 129,000 MBH 

Model MPO189 has a heating capacity of 167,000 MBH 

Model MPO231 has a heating capacity of 203,000 MBH 

The MPO heating system has a spacious combustion chamber and does not require a target wall or blankets to sustain or increase the heating. With the MPO boiler the heat transfer will be increased and better results will be obtained. Due to the fact that the flue way is removable, there is now more than one possibility of installing the boiler, as long as you have a chimney application. This flexible system allows also a better and easier cleaning.     

Most boiler jackets tend to loose heat but the Burnham MPO Boiler benefits from a 3 inches thick insulation that prevents heat loss. The Honeywell Aquastat is an electric device attached to the MPO boiler that has a digital screen and a display that shows the boilers’ diagnose. This is not only comfortable but also helps you spare your money and your time without constantly calling a specialist.

There is an option kit available for those of you that have no chimney and it contains: a sidewall made of stainless steel that has a concentric vent termination and an insulated pipe with the lengths of 5, 10, 15 and 20 feet.
