Burnham Oil Fired Boilers LE series

The Burnham oil fired LE series boilers are made of steel and are perfect for the modern hydronic systems used nowadays. It provides excellent result for low mass compact units. The LE series has the ability of heating up and cooling down fast, and all these without using large amounts of oil.

LE stands for Low Economy, so by using this boiler you will have comfort and lower bills. You can now have this model in several sizes, so that it fits your place.   It is available in two models, one using direct vent and the other one based on natural draft (chimney vented).      The Burnham LE direct vent oil fired boiler has been rated with up to 86% efficiency and it is considered to be so economical that the company guarantees in a few years it will end up paying itself out of the energy savings only. Another advantage is that no chimney is needed so you no longer need to worry about adapting your old chimney to a new boiler or new local laws.

The Burnham LE direct vent oil fired boiler vents all the gases through a wall directly so it can be installed almost anywhere (basement, closet). This system is highly recommended for newer buildings that are usually built with no chimneys.  

You can combine the LE direct vent oil fired boiler with a radiant pipe and you will have heating directly trough the floor or walls and due to the radiant heat properties you can set your thermostat five degrees lower than normal and have the same results but less heat loss.  

If you want to maximize the hot water’s capacity, you can use Alliance indirect water heater installed with the LE Series boiler. This suits best places where water is being used simultaneously in different rooms. This way you are guaranteed hot water immediately and without any other extra costs. Unlike gas-fired or electric water heaters, the Alliance water heater uses water directly from the boiler as the heat source to produce gallons of hot water in an insulated tank. 

You can combine the Burnham oil fired LE series with the Burnham EC5000 microprocessor in order to manage the whole system by using a single control. This device can offer four types of heating zones and water control while analyzing constantly the temperature outdoors and indoors.  

The combustion chamber can be easily accessed in case of service and maintenance by using the cast iron reversible swing door. The door’s opening can be reversed so that you can access it no matter the position of the boiler.
