Cheap Oil Boilers - For Those on a Tight Budget

Cheap Oil Boilers Picture.

Just because it’s time to replace that  old clunker of an oil boiler, that has been in your house for longer than you have, does not meant that you should have to spend a fortune on a new one.

Despite what you may have heard, there are cheap oil boilers that are still able to do the job well, even if you are on a tight budget.

No matter how much you do or do not have to spend on your new oil fired boiler, it’s important to shop around and try to find one with the highest efficiency rating you can.

This way you can still enjoy significant savings on your heating bills, especially when compared with the clunker you are replacing.

Buying New Boilers

The biggest difference in buying cheap oil boilers is that you may have to take a chance on a generic type, rather than trying to buy one of the oil fired boilers that are listed on the Best of Oil Boilers for 2010 listing. The boilers that make this list are generally the latest state of the art units, made by the top manufacturers in the world; these units do not come cheap. There are several companies out there that, while they do not make this list, still produce an excellent product. You may have to shop around on web sites like this one for recommendations along with plenty of research.

To save as much money as possible on your oil bill, you might be much better off buying a cheap condensing boiler than spending the same amount of money on a standard boiler. This is because the condensing boilers are far more fuel efficient and will pay themselves off with reduced fuel consumption and better overall performance.

How about Used?

If you should happen to find yourself in need of a replacement boiler at a time when your budget is really small you might want to consider buying a used oil boiler to get you by. Many installers keep a small inventory of used boilers for just this purpose. In general, these are boilers that they have taken out when a customer has upgraded or changed to a different type of heating. The service technician would have gone through the workings of the boiler to make sure that it works fine and then sell it for a price that will fit right in with your budget, which  includes installation.

There are several ways to find cheap oil boilers when you are on a very limited budget. You may have to spend some extra time doing a little research and going out to look at boilers that are not made by the top brand names, but whether you buy new or used, you can still enjoy the lower cost of an oil fired boiler central heating system all winter long.

One major thing to keep in mind is that while the lower cost oil fired boilers may not offer the same warranties as the better known brands, this is one of the ways they keep their costs down. Though many may not believe it, it’s not always  an indication of their quality.
