Crown Commercial Oil Fired Boiler Series 24

The Crown Series 24 is a commercial, forced draft, oil or gas fired hot water or steam boiler. Crown used the newest technology for this commercial boiler and it is suitable for any kind of building you may think of.  The Crown Series 24 is made of cast iron. The heat exchanger is also built from cast iron and has push nipples for maximum optimisation. The cast iron material is highly resistant to corrosion and to different chemical substances based on petroleum, metal damage inhibitors, antifreeze and different lubricants. The push nipples dilate when the boiler becomes warm and this way stops the heat loss, they increase and decrease automatically synchronizing with the boiler’s section they join.

The Crown Series 24 has a construction to meet all needs and possibilities. It can work with either hot water or steam; it functions on either gas, or oil, or a gas/oil combination fuel. Usually the fuel represents a major part in deciding over the type of boiler one wants to purchase. In some areas, fuel choice depends on the availability but in other cases is a matter of economical purposes.

The boiler is easy to assemble you only need a drive ratchet measuring 3- 4 inches with a 1-1/16-inch socket of 1-1/16 inches dept and a wrench. To make this process even easier, Crown specialists used short rods that go through all the boiler’s sections. The maintenance can be easily effectuated through the left access areas. This design permits the boiler to be placed nine inches distance from right sidewall.  

There is also a choice to be made when it comes to the venting options. The Crown Series 24 is an oil fired boiler that does not necessarily require chimneys or other types of draft inducers. This boiler can give you endless options, it is extremely flexible and can adapt to any circumstances. The venting system can be placed either from the top of the boiler or from the rear. In case your venting option is the rear, you only need to have 6 and a half feet distance from the floor up to the ceiling. The delivery of the boiler package is made in sections that are calculated to fit easily to all door sizes and stairways. 

Crown Series 24 is available in ten sizes starting with 342,000 up to 1,852,000 Btu’s/hour output. You choose the best size depending on the size of the space you need to heat. For residential hot water need you can add a tankless heater, this is appropriate for narrow crowded spaces or special installation that demand another water heater.
