The Kingston series are most appropriate oil fired steam boilers for houses that have
chimneys.
The series consists
in three size boilers and nine different models that range in boiler sections from three to
five; their heating
capacity is 78,000 BTU and 235,000
BTU.
The Crown Kingston

The boiler is perfectly insulated by the ceramic fibre target wall and a blanket in the
combustion chamber.
The Kingston series is designed with
a wet base at the enclosing of the combustion chamber and on all other sides of the boiler. This feature will
provide better heating transfer with fewer losses and less fuel consume. The heat exchanger is held by push
nipples; the push nipples get wider when the boiler heats and therefore they cover the boiler sections and prevent
the heating from getting out of the system.
The Crown
Kingston series also comes with the drain valve, draft regulator, burner twist disconnect plug, an
ASME safety valve, pressure gauge and a low water cut off switch( this represents a safety feature – it will
send information to the boiler, and the boiler will automatically stop functioning in case the water level is
too low).
The split jacket will enable the
boiler’s cleaning and servicing. The burner’s swing door also serves maintenance purposes. The great insulation
system prevents heat loss and saves you money on your bill. Crown offers twelve years guarantee for the iron cast
steam heat exchanger and five to ten years guarantee for other parts and service.
Crown Company recommends using the Mega-Store water heater in case you decide you need to add a water heater to
your boiler. The water heaters have the tank and the coils made out of stainless steel, you only need to choose the
appropriate size (available sizes 26 and 119 gallons). It is advisable to ask a technician for advice in this
situation.
