Weil McLain WGO Oil Fired Steam Boiler

The Weil McLain Gold Series WGO oil fired steam boiler is a boiler that functions based on water only. There is no need to install tankless heaters or cover plates. The WGO series is among the first Weil McLain heating systems and is still much appreciated. There are eight different models in this series, all having different sizes. The Net BTUH ranges from 75,000 to 257,000.The WGO series need two fuel oils in order to operate smoothly.    All the boilers from the WGO series are rated with 85% efficiency and higher. The venting system is available both on top and on rear of the boiler this means that the boiler is provided with two different flue openings. It is very easy to install the boiler under these circumstances.

The Weil McLain WGO oil fired boiler is easy to inspect and service and it can be maintained through the top. The flue ways are at see and therefore easy to be cleaned. You can easy reach them by simply removing the jacket cap and the flue outlet cap. After you have performed the cleaning, you will have no complications when putting the two caps back together. The WGO oil fired boiler has heat pins that enable the travelling of the flue brush through certain paths. This is a smooth hygienically operation.  

The cast iron boiler sections are factory settings and come already installed. The cast iron sections give durability to the WGO heating system. If the WGO boilers are properly taken care of, they can last up to 25 years. There is a high temperature rope compressed between the boiler sections that creates a gas tight seal that does not allow gas leaking through the boiler.  

The Weil McLain WGO oil fired boilers use a capture seal system. This makes the boiler sections expand and contract whenever the system warms up. It also has an elastomer sealant that does not allow water to run out of the system and the boiler can work at its maximum capacity. The WGO boiler comes with a Taco 007 circulator pump.  

The Weil McLain WHO boiler package comes with a 30 PSIG ASME relief valve, a drain valve and a balanced draft damper. You can add extra efficiency by installing a high efficiency flame retention oil burner. You can choose between Beckett AFG, Carlin EZ or Riello. The boiler also has an indirect fired water heater as a default setting.   The Weil McLain company offer a limited lifetime warranty for all the boilers from the WHO series. This is a heating system that is easy to install, maintain and service.
